The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity: Its History and Concerns for the Future

This article considers critically the role of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in the current wintry climate of ecumenism. Its history, theological basis, the relevance of spiritual ecumenism and the current praxis of the Week are examined in the context of present ecumenical issues.
